When we start painting a garage floor, we first wet it down, then we use acid to wash it.  After that we power-wash away the acid and residue, then let the floor dry for a day.  The first coat is then applied and allowed to dry for a day.  Next, we apply the second coat and let that dry for two days.  We would recommend that you don't drive on the newly-painted floor for at least a week.
